Pine tar has been used in medicine for more than 2000 years to treat a range of skin conditions because of its soothing and antiseptic properties. These properties make pine tar suitable for possible relief of eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis and other dry, itchy, flaky or inflamed skin conditions. Pine Tar Soap is NOT for everyone! Some describe it as a smokey earthy smell. Our Pine Tar Soaps are scented with essential oils.
***Pine Tar products can irritate your skin; test a small amount on a small patch of your skin before using Pine Tar Soap liberally.****
If you are allergic to any essential oils, coconut oil, olive oil, lard, Pine Tar, menthol, or any common soap ingredient please do not order.
Each soap is sliced fresh from the raw loaf. It's approximately 7/8" thick by 3" wide and 3" tall, however each bar is hand cut by Matthew and may range from a half inch thick to 1" thick.
Do not use any soap in or near eyes.
Your soap will arrive wrapped by hand and is made in a house with a dog, Bagel.
